Lying to the South of Mayfair, and relatively small in size, St James's is known for its gentleman's clubs and auction houses. However, it is also a highly prestigious office location, comparable in office rental costs to Mayfair.
The office buildings overlooking St James's Square are amongst the most sought after in London.
With St James's Park to the South, Victoria mainline station is a pleasant stroll away as is Charing Cross Station, via Trafalgar Square. St James's Park is the oldest Park in London, having housed a leper hospital in the 13th Century it became one of Henry VIII's many deer parks and he built St James's Palace as his hunting lodge (now the home of Prince Charles).
Jermyn Street is renowned for its shirt makers and famous gentleman's clubs in the area include Boodles, The East India Club, The Carlton Club, RAC Club and The Reform Club.
St James's hosts a diverse cross section of office occupiers including private equity houses, property companies and art dealers including the world famous Christies.
