Located to the south west of Mayfair and to the north of Belgravia, the Knightsbridge area runs to the south of Hyde Park, one of the biggest open spaces in Central London. Knightsbridge and Hyde Park Corner underground stations are both on the Piccadilly Line, which runs roughly east-west across London.
Whilst the address is best known for its high class designer shops and the world famous Harrods (the largest department store in Europe) Knightsbridge is also a much sought after office location as it affords swift access to Heathrow as well as the West End of London. It is also the home of the Household Cavalry.
The area is popular with wealthy company directors who typically live close by in the exclusive residential districts of Chelsea, Belgravia and Kensington and do not wish to site their office too far from their home. Largely due to the limited amount of building with office use in the area and its popularity as an area in which to work, prime office rents on Knightsbridge are amongst the highest in the world, and only just behind those of Mayfair and St James's.
There's plenty of culture for the local office worker at lunchtime too, with the Royal Albert Hall, Serpentine Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum and the Duke of Wellington's former residence (with the enviable address of "Number One, London") overlooking Hyde Park Corner itself.
